About My Lord

Jesus is my Lord, my Master and my God.

“yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.”  (1 Corinthians 8:6)

In Jesus there is life for those who believe in Him.

He is  “. . . the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me [Jesus].” (John 14:5-7)

He is  “. . . the Light of the world; he who follows Me [Jesus] will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”  (John 8:12)

He is  “. . . the bread of life; he who comes to Me [Jesus] will not hunger, and he who believes in Me[Jesus] will never thirst.” (John 6:35)

He gave his life for me.

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16-18)

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)

He sits on His throne in glory and on the throne of my heart.

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

“. . . fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  (Hebrews 12:2)
